The Bellbird Committee is a registered charity organisation and has been established over
30 years. It is committed to assisting disadvantaged Central Coast children and associated
groups concerned with the welfare of children. Through its fundraising the committee has
been able to provide financial assistance to organisations like Yarran Early Intervention
Centre, Central Coast Kids in Need, Riding for the Disabled and the Central Coast School
for Children with Autism. From time to time the committee also assists individual families
which need support for a disadvantaged child. The Committee, consisting of approximately 30 women, meets every month to plan
fundraising events and manage the distribution of funds raised. New members are
